According to the U.S. Department of Education, Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee allocated $613,915 to its women’s basketball teams in 2024, which is $435,617 below the state average of $1,049,532.
Women’s basketball teams from Jefferson County received $613,915 during the 2024 season, up 13.4% from the previous year.
Men’s basketball teams from Jefferson County received $646,222 during the 2024 season, up 6.8% from the previous year.
