There was a single gas station in cities across Cocke County selling diesel at the lowest price of $2.89 per gallon in the week ending Dec. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of diesel in cities within Cocke County was $3.06 per gallon.
Of the 34 reported gas stations in cities within Cocke County, seven offer diesel.
The average reported price of diesel in Tennessee was $3.21, compared to $3.23 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
