On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Jefferson County High School standout Jacob Rogers’ current college team, the Carson-Newman Eagles, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the King Tornado.

The game took place at Silver Diamond Baseball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Tornado this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. at Robert H. Ledbetter Baseball Complex against Shorter Hawks.
