On November 17, 2022, deputies with Sevier County Sheriff’s Office and officers with Sevierville Police Department participated in the Tip-A-Cop event at the Texas Roadhouse in Sevierville. Tip-A-Cop is a fund-raising event in which law enforcement participants volunteer their time to be waiters/waitresses at a restaurant and 100% of the tips they receive from doing so, goes to the Special Olympics. We would like to thank everyone who participated and made this event a huge success! Also, a huge shout out to Texas Roadhouse in Sevierville for showing us the ropes and allowing us to use their restaurant for such a great cause. A total of $14,700.00 was raised for the Special Olympics from participating locations!
