The Walters State Debate Team shined at the Cleveland State Cougar Classic Tournament. Emily Kledzik of Bean Station and Samantha McDaniel of Rutledge advanced to the semifinals in their first college tournament. Both also received individual speaking awards. Coach Rob Pratt heaped praise on all debate team members who made the trip. Next stop? The Tennessee Porch Swing Tournament at Carson-Newman.
