On 8-29-22. Deputy Logan Starritt received a BOLO for a vehicle that was traveling on US Hwy 411 at a high rate of speed, He conducted a traffic stop, and requested assistance. K9 Deputy John Holland and his partner “Tuko” conducted a vehicle search with a positive hit for the odor of narcotics. Upon a search of the vehicle Deputies located and seized a large bag of marijuana, small bag of meth, loaded 9mm pistol, baggies and scales. $1,165 cash was also seized. Anthony Redd of Marion NC was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Detention Center where he is being held on a $20,000 bond
