On Wednesday, August 31, the Sevier County Clerk and Circuit Court Clerks’ offices will be closed for audit. The closing is because of the administrative change (newly-elected officials will take office on September 1).
On Thursday, September 1, all elected officials will be sworn in at 10 a.m. on the courthouse porch. The courthouse will be closed to the public from 8 a.m. to noon. It will be a regular workday for courthouse employees.
