On Thursday, August 25th at 7:31 pm First Responders responded to the Leadvale Lake Access area on Douglas Lake to a reported drowning. They located and recovered male
juvenile. Jefferson County EMS began life saving measures and transported the victim to Morristown Hamblen ER where he later died. Additional information and the identification of the victim will be released later today.
