"The Tennessee Mosaic," the literary anthology of the Tennessee Phi Theta Kappa, has honored four Walters State students with publication and awards.

Brandi Patrick received first place in creative nonfiction for "Window." Tanner Keck received first place in research for "The Price of Power." Donna Mosley received first place in poetry for "The Ballad of Pattie Bird" and second place in short fiction for "Envelopes." Shyanne Simpkins received third place in poetry for "Girl Under Glass."
