On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Seymour High School standout Derek McCarley’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place at Thomas Baseball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the RedHawks this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Baseball Stadium against Miami RedHawks.
