On Friday, Feb. 21, former Seymour High School standout Derek McCarley’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, lost 12-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place at Thomas Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the RedHawks this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Thomas Baseball Stadium against Miami RedHawks.
