On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Sevier County High School standout Drew Mattox’s current college team, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Illinois Salukis.

The game took place at Howell Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Salukis this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Howell Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex against Southern Illinois Salukis.
