On Tuesday, March 18, former Gatlinburg Pittman High School standout Shane Jackson’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, lost 13-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Concord Mountain Lions.
The game took place at Burchell Stallard Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Durham Field against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
