The Lady Railsplitters traveled to Lee University today to take on the Lee University Flames in a double header. The No. 20 Lincoln Memorial headed into their midweek games 4-0 from the weekend invitational. Lincoln Memorial took 2 from Lee this afternoon in Cleveland, putting their overall record at 6-0. 
 
Game 1: Lincoln Memorial 8-0 (6 innings)
Right from the start, Kelsie Tuggle hit one over the center field fence to put LMU up 1. In the 2nd inning, Katy Pozzuto knocked one out of the park as the leadoff for the inning and Sierra Hucklebee had a sacrifice fly to score Madison Henry. In the 4th inning, Sierra Hucklebee started things off with a single to left, followed by Kelsie Tuggle dropping a sacrifice bunt to move Hucklebee into scoring position. McKenzie Henry singled to right field to drive in the RBI. In the 6thinning, Victoria Conley hit a single up the middle, followed by Gracie Palmer getting hit by a pitch.  Sierra Hucklebee hit a single to the left side, scoring Conley. Kelsie Tuggle hit her 2nd homerun of the game, gaining 3 RBI’s.
 
Emma Frost picked up her third win today, keeping Lee scoreless in 6 innings, with 3 strikeouts and limited the Flames to only 6 hits. Emma Frost is 3-0 heading into the weekend at the Charger Chillout.
 
Game 2: Lincoln Memorial 7-6 (7 innings)
In the 1st inning Katie Tuggle sent one deep to left field, to jog her way around the bases for a solo homerun. In the 2ndinning, Sterre den Duijn singled to the shortstop, followed by Katy Pozzuto and Madison Henry both reaching base. Victoria Conley moves Pozzuto and Henry to second and third base, to have Anna Kate Reichter single to left to bringing in those two runs. In the 3rd inning McKenzie Henry hit a homer to left center driving in 3 RBI’s. In the 7th inning Sierra Hucklebee led off and hit a homerun to right field.
 
Hayley Tamaro picked up her third win today, battling it out up until the very last out. Tamaro gave up 9 hits and had 4 strikeouts on the day. Hayley Tamaro is 3-0 heading into the weekend at the Charger Chillout.
