On Saturday, March 1, former Jefferson County High School standout Catelyn Riley’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Furman Paladins.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Paladins this season.

The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium against UAB Blazers.
