On Friday, Feb. 21, former Jefferson County High School standout Catelyn Riley’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Thunderbirds this season.

The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium against Drake Bulldogs.
