On Friday, Feb. 21, former Jefferson County High School standout Catelyn Riley’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hokies this season.

The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6:20 p.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium against Southern Utah Thunderbirds.
