Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $4.14 per gallon at one gas station in Jefferson County during the week ending May 16, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Midgrade gas prices averaged $4.42 per gallon in Jefferson County.
GasBuddy reports show that midgrade gas was available at 15 of the 39 reported gas stations in Jefferson County.
The statewide average price of midgrade gas in Tennessee was $4.56 per gallon for the week ending May 16, an increase from the previous week.
Fuel prices climbed sharply in spring 2026 as tensions in the Middle East disrupted global oil shipments and refinery outages tightened gasoline supplies in parts of the United States.
